Cosplay Photoshoot Activity at Pekan (14.07.2013)

We have decided to travel to Pekan, Pahang, Malaysia to have a photoshoot for the cosplayers whom are living there. It is due to because they do not have any transport to travel to Kuantan and alsoinconvenience if they just travel all the way down to Kuantan just for a photoshoot. They won’t have a changing room (except for the public toliet which randomly open or close depending on the mood of the employee there), hence we travel to Pekan, hoping to be able to assist them in photoshoot.

However, due to our inexperience, we are faced with several problem such as we choose and go at the wrong date where most malay people are fasting and no shops are open due to fasting period. The only restaurant available are those fast food restaurants but they are not opening until 10.00a.m. Leaving no choice we directly head for one of the cosplayer house so that 2 of the cosplayers from Kuantan also can prepare their make up and costume there.

We also didn’t set the timing properly and caused 2 volunteered photographer to wait for us for 2 hours. Our schedule are quite messed up on that day but we still manage to get some photos. It’s a pity that we can’t snap some of the cosplayers due to unsuitable timing but we hopefully we can have a photoshoot with them next time.

One of our comrade, Ch Tan also decided to try videoshooting on this trip. It is his first time shooting and editing a video, so this video have it’s flaws, we are very sorry about it ^^” As below are the video to share with you all. 2nd Outdoor Cosplay Photoshoot Activity 2013

Our second photoshoot activity on 26.05.2014 which was actually planned by a cosplayer from Kuala Lumpur but unfortunately, he cancelled it last minute due to unable to find any photographers. Hence I take up this task to avoid others from being disappointed and sad. Contacted all the photographers i know and ask them for support. Manage to arrange this activity when i was on the way back from Penang after attending one of their Cosplay event there.

The photographers that attended are all curious to know what kind of shooting is this. Most of the started to try and learn how to take a cosplay photoshoot. Since cosplay photoshoot are different from normal Model photoshoot, hence the pictures won’t be as good as the international’s Cosplay Photoshoot. Thus, begun our journey on how to snap a good cosplay shoot! 🙂

AFA MY : Anime Festival Asia Malaysia 2012

One of the largest event in Asia hosted in Malaysia on 09th & 10th of June 2012 at Putra World Trade Centre, Kuala Lumpur.

Visited there with my friends and we stayed at Seri Pacific Hotel (http://www.seripacifichotel.com/) which is just right beside the event hall.

This is the first time they held it in Malaysia as usually it is only in Singapore. As expected Bushiroad’s TCG are there to promote Vanguard. I am not sure which shop in Malaysia represent them because i am busy running around snapping pictures and meeting people. I will share the pictures here. Those who knows, feel free to comment. Thanks~
