  • A.S.K MAID CAFE : COFFEE, TEA or ME?

    After a year dormant, our Kuantan members also decided to revive back the Maid Cafe since there are some members willing to contribute some funding to kick-start the project and want it to go on annually. Thus, we finally revive back our Maid Cafe! Hopefully one day we can revive back our Kuantan Coswalk as well!! But let’s get back to our, A.S.K Maid Cafe : Coffee, Tea or Me.

    Date : 4th August 2019 (Sunday)
    Time : 10.00a.m – 6.00p.m
    Venue : Pull A Shot , Kuantan.

    Thanks to the owner of Pull A Shot for giving us an opportunity to work with them again. With more supports, we can do better! We continue with recruitment of Maid/Butler’s in Kuantan however since Kuantan doesn’t have any bigger scale event since 2017, most of the cosplayers have either graduated or studying aboard. Hence we got no choice but to seek assistance from friends whom are not from Kuantan.

    After gathering all the needed Maid/Butlers, we proceed with the photoshoot planning, designs, documentations, printing and marketing.
    Since we have 2 different photoshoot dates this time as well because half of our Maid Teams are in KL, therefore 1 photoshoot sessions will be done in Kuantan, while another will be in KL.

    With the photo sessions done, next we arranged a booth at Cosmic Wave to create more awareness of our cafe ^^

    and we also do a simple promo videoshoot about the cafe to highlight this upcoming Maid Cafe.

    Most of our marketing will be done in facebook via facebook event page. Finishing all the marketing posting, printing and packing of photos, some decorations of the cafe, printing of documents and order chit, we are then finally arrived on the actual event day.

  • TANABATA MATSURI & ANIME STREET

    Our 2nd official job from Gemini Event for this Tanabata Matsuri & Anime Street…which also got confirmed by the mall management 1 month before the event. It is yet another rush job but since it’s an opportunity, we must work it on it well. Same as previous event, we are responsible for the ACG & Cosplay content and also stage management. Also we help out in the marketing of the events, designs, any documentations, proposals, ad-hoc assistance and setup. Since Gemini Event also have their own Japanese culture content and stage performance, we work closely in details to make sure our content and programs doesn’t overlap.

  • ANIME SAIKO “BORN OF KYOYA” JB

    Collaboration project with Anime Saiko at Forest City, Johor Bahru to handle their 2nd stage.
    While our stage team are handling the 2nd stage, we are also bringing in our Maid Cafe Team into their event which we will write in another post. This is also our 1st collaboration that involved bringing more than 40+ staff to assist in their events at Johor which include assisting their Media Team, Otoko Studio.

    Date : 01st, 2nd & 3rd December 2017
    Venue : Forest City, Johor Bahru
    Time : 10.00a.m – 10.00p.m

    Our 2nd stage only start operating at 12p.m – 6.00p.m but we have to be there early to prepare and also assist the Maid Cafe Team as theirs start at 11.00a.m sharp during the event day. In this event, we separated into 3 category, Stage/Operation Team (A.S.K), Maid Cafe Team (Maids) and Media Team (Otoko). Since the Media Team have to be there early to shoot some scene of footage of the pre-event and interviews, hence the organizers requested them to come earlier, however with lacking of transports, hence part of the stage/operation (A.S.K) team will have to assist them.

    Our trip started from Kuantan to Kuala Lumpur on Wednesday (30 Nov 2017), arriving there around evening and then continue our journey with the Media Team from Kuala Lumpur to Johor at night. While the rest of the Operation and Maid Team will travel on Friday instead. It’s a tiring for us whom travel on Thursday but it’s a fun and good experience journey. Though we faced a few problems due to miscommunications with the organizers, we somehow manage to settled it as soon as we can since it’s getting late.

    However on the 2nd day, technical difficulties still happens and again, we sit together and find a solution to it as soon as possible because another half of the team are on their way. Rather everyone getting stuck on a problem, the Operation Team (A.S.K) and Media Team (Otoko) put everything in their capability to solve it.

    With much brainstorm and going around Johor to solve all minor problems that we can see, we finally manage to settle it with the good cooperation and patience from everyone. Thank you so much, you guys are awesome! We then continue to proceed with the preparation and setup for the event on the big day.

    Other than the 2nd Stage and the Maid Cafe Department which the Maid Team and part of our operation team are handling, the main stage are much more happening! There are also Japanese Street too! If you are there on that day, you will know the whole Forest City are full of excitement and things to see! Let us share some photos from the Media Team as well on other departments!

    It’s exciting! and the place is so big too! This is truly a wonderful experience!

  • ANIMANGAKI 2016

    home

    The 2nd largest & longest ACG Event in Malaysia that most people known. This time we tried to apply for Media tag so that we can photo and videoshoot assist in bringing more exposure and also upgrade our skills. Hopefully we are helping alittle for the community.

    As usual, their stage are great! Together with the lighting and control, it’s a very nice one! Spacious too for people to enjoy the stage performance, competitions and much more! Their booth also increased! But this time they manage to place it better than last year! There’s only a few jams and the crowd control have improved! They also enforced only those with tags can go photo or videoshoot outside the venue near the carpark. We can see there are a few people who are unhappy about this and as for why they do this limitation, i am not sure myself but as an event attendee, what we can do is just respect their way of doing things and hopefully one day someone will tell us the real reason behind it.

    Overall, we enjoyed it and thank you very much to Animangaki for giving us a tag so that we can photo and videoshoot much mroe smoother. Hopefully our works are able to assist you alittle in your event’s exposure.

  • COSPLAY CORNER 2016

    We were invited to Cosplay Corner 2016 as Guest Photographer & Videographer! It’s an honor to be invited and appreciated by the community! We also thank you very much for the opportunity and support! This event was nicely done and there’s alot of attraction in it. The organizer did a good job getting all the atractive booths and game inside for everyone to enjoy!

    While there’s the NDS Gathering and tournament, they also make sure Cosplayers are not being left out! There’s performance, competition and photo booth! Overall, it’s quite fun to be there on that day.
