COMIC FIESTA 2015

Comic Fiesta 2015 is the largest Cosplay Event in Malaysia and this year they have moved to a new venue. The place are bigger than previous venue but the spot for photography and videography are quite challenging. According to my friend who is a videographer, there are 3 colours in his video due to the laminating of windows, hall light and booth light. It’s pretty interesting and challenging he said.

This time we travelled in 3 cars as there’s not enough people to rent a bus. Fortunately we came by ourselves as we faced a huge jam on the way back. A bus who are not familiar with the place also blocked the whole road due waiting for his passenger. I guess if we were to bring a group with bus, we must really study the location and understand the layout. The whole place are packed with cars because there are 3 exit from the parking towards 1 exit of the venue. Due to such great event, the traffic will be worsen more than ever.

We also faced hotel problem this year. It’s strange though, this time i booked and paid every room myself yet problem still arises. Really something that i can’t understand but with the good cooperation of the hotel’s manager, all are solved and everyone is happy.

XPAX Fantasy Fest 2015

We decided to go on this trip to this event as my friend say he would want to shoot some videos and since this is the only event available in Malaysia at that time, we decided to come here. It’s hosted at the 15th Floor of a shopping mall. It’s very spacious and alot of things to see. There are games to play and free gifts to take as well. Their music are also nicely tuned to have the event environment.

The event are nicely organized. Their Emcees are great too! Really like the way the organized everything but they unfortunately clashed with a major event, Aime Fiesta Asia (AFA) at Singapore, hence the cosplayers are lesser but still, we had a great time. Looking forward for their next event!

No photographers followed us to this event as well hence there’s no photo as i also didn’t snap any photo other than the photo to be uploaded at our Facebook Page.

GAMEPLAN 2015

Right after the week traveling from Radical Anime Game Expo, i got a request to assist our artist friend, Reimy Illustration at GAMEPLAN 2015 event at her booth. Therefore we decided to travel to this event to assist her as she mentioned that her group of people wasn’t able to come due to studies and examination.

In this event, however, due to many unforeseen circumstances, my video friend, Ch Tan, are only able to shoot 1 cosplayer and attractions around the events. As we do not have enough scenes, we added some scenes from RAGE 2015. I did manage to snap some cosplayer though. Like previously, no photographers followed us to this event due to life commitment hence our photo are also very limited.

Radical Anime Game Expo 2015

This time we went to Melaka (Malacca) as this event was held in there. This event also have a great meaning to us as previously, thanks to this event, we are able to kick-start our group. Therefore, it is a must to visit and support the place where it help connects us and also the group who hosted this event. We also open a booth there to do our fundraising and since this time no photographers followed us so…we doesn’t have any photo from the event except for the photos that i take to post at our facebook page.

It is also the first time i drive there using a smaller road and longer time (5 hours) because there’s no bigger highway towards there. Very good experience. Wasn’t able to shoot much cosers because we are quite exhausted from the Day 1 trip and Day 2 we have to go off early because the road back is really dark. We deeply apologize for unable to shoot much cosplayers ^^”

Hatsune Miku 8th Birthday Gathering Party 2015

A celebration for Hatsune Miku’s 8th Birthday Gathering Party at Kuantan~ regardless what had happened inside the group, i still found that it is wise to continue on something that will make everyone happy and also celebrate the Virtual Idol we all admired. This time we hosted at Animate Geck-O Hobby and Animate Cafe as they have moved to a new location with a bigger place and the place which we hosted last 2 years have been closed down. Not to mention our budget is also running low.

As the place are smaller compare to previously and due to low budget, we requested and accepted the generous offer from Animate Geck-O to host our Gathering there. At first i did not thought the crowd to be full as i expected not many people will come as that day…unfortunately the air-con also broke down so the whole place are quite hot and stuffy until we manage to open the jammed windows.

It crowd turn out from the events does give me hope to continue working on these event in Kuantan as there are a few new cosplayers whom i never seen before appeared. I am very happy to see these. Hopefully on new people will keep on appearing, join and support us. It’s not a big event but i am happy that many people turn out for it. Again, i really wish this will keep on continue as i work on the events in the future~
